India-Kuwait Linked By Hearts, Says PM Modi
Source: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kuwait on Saturday for a two-day official trip. Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah had invited PM Modi to Kuwait. Indira Gandhi was the last PM to visit the country in 1981. Modi gets a grand red carpet welcome and he also enjoys performance by the artistes. PM Modi at the Community Event #HalaModi, says, "The relationship between India and Kuwait is of civilisations, of the ocean, of trade. India and Kuwait are situated on two banks of the Arabian Sea. We are linked not just by diplomacy but also by our hearts. Not only our present but also our past connects us." Modi also met Indian workers, had snacks with them during his visit to Gulf Spic Labour Camp in Mina Abdullah area.
