Ashok Gehlot government has removed the ban imposed on Transfers late one night on Tuesday. Now transfer will be done in all departments.
The Ashok Gehlot government of the state has lifted the ban on Transfers of all departments just before the elections of Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Committees. It was banned on 30 September last year.
The State Administrative Reforms Department has issued orders to lift the ban. In view of the status of Kovid-19 in the state, all applications for transfers will now be accepted online.
This order will also apply to all corporations and autonomous institutions. In the order issued by the Administrative Reforms and Coordination Department (Group 1), it has been said that the code of conduct issued by the State Election Commission will be followed in the transfers to be made from September 15 to October 30.
Recently, MLAs had requested Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to lift the ban from transfers. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot held a meeting with Chief Secretary Rajiv Swaroop and Principal Secretary of Administrative Reforms Department Ashwani Bhagat at his residence late on Tuesday and cleared the lifting of the ban on transfers.
After that, in front of Congress state in-charge Ajay Maken, who recently visited the state, most of the MLAs of the party had requested to lift the ban on transfers in the state. On the request of the MLAs, Ajay Maken had consulted with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and state Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara.
After that, Dotasara had recently indicated to lift the ban on transfers in the state. After these signals, the Chief Minister gave the green signal to the MLAs late on Tuesday, accepting the demand.
