Jaipur: Relaxation in lockdown seems to have pushed the onbutton for the road accidents as 8 deaths were reported in 4 accidents in the state. Nagaur alone witnessed 3 incidents killing 6 people.
An Innova overturned while driven at high-speed on Wednesday night killing one of the occupants near Rol village. While in another accident three young men in their early twenties were crushed by a highspeed car in front of a petrol pump near Choti Khatu.
The three young men were chatting on the roadside on Thursday morning. Police took the severely injured to the hospital where they were declared dead.
The third incident killed two on the spot when a car collided with a speeding truck near Kacholiya toll booth. A father and son were killed on the spot while changing the tyre of their trolley near Jaisalmer when a pick up hit them on the roadside.
