NITI Aayog: Raj top performer in category of landlocked states

Jaipur: After improving the ranking in prestigious Skoch Award, Rajasthan has established its credibility in the ranking of NITI Aayog also.

Niti Aayog has different standards of development according to which the ranking of states is issued. Recently, the state has made a mark in these different parameters.

The State has been the top performer in the category of landlocked states in the Export Preparedness Index released by NITI Aayog.

The state secured fourth position in the country in per capita agricultural production.
Rajasthan’s economy has grown by 11.04% in 2021-22, which is the highest in the country after Andhra Pradesh.

The infant mortality rate has come down to 30.3 per thousand. Similarly, the under-five mortality rate has also come down to 37.6 per thousand. There has been a significant reduction in the maternal mortality rate which has come down from 141 per lakh in 2017-19 to 113 per lakh in 2018-20.

Rajasthan got first position in two categories of Service Delivery and Public Grievance Redressal under the ‘Good Governance Week – Prashasan Gaon ki Aur 2022’ campaign run by the GoI.
